As much as I love the opportunity to throw on a costume, to me, Halloween also means endless chances to dress in spooky theme; which I am ALWAYS 100% down for.

Over the weekend, we started getting things ready for Halloween by putting up a few fun decorations around the house. To get in the mood, I decided to wear my most ghoulish glam garb!

I love this Pumpkin necklace from long-time favourites, Tatty Devine – it’s so bright and cheerful (plus, THOSE WEE EYEBROWS!). It’s currently sold out online but you can find the rest of their Spooktacular collection here. I’m not sure if we’ll carve any real pumpkins this year but we’ve bought a few small ones to decorate with.

When it comes to this time of year I say GO BIG OR GO HOME, so I’m more than happy to wear a statement necklace with some OTT earrings (there’s no such thing as too many accessories, I am living my best magpie life!). I picked up these skeleton bad boys on a recent trip to H&M and they will be staying in my regular rotation long after October…

Emily and Fin’s frocks are right up my street with their retro-inspired silhouettes! I’m wearing their Abigail dress in a cute starry print which reminds me of the TV show Bewitched!

I’ve had these highlighter-orange shoes by Dr Martens for a few years now and I’m wearing them with a pair of sparkly ghost socks that were a gift from my best gal – because she figured I had to have them (I couldn’t agree more!). I love combining these shoes with patterned socks, I even did it again today.

What are your thoughts on spooky clothes and accessories at this time of year? Do you like to decorate for Halloween, too?
