Friday Hi-Fives: Brunch, Bubble Tea and Burgers!

Hello from the rain-soaked streets and windswept avenues of Glasgow! This week, there hasn’t been a day that we didn’t get rained on, hailed on or blasted by gales - I hope that despite this not-so-nice weather, you’ve still had a wonderful week? Who said a little stormy weather had to spoil your fun anyway?!

On Sunday I found myself chatting blogging and social media while enjoying a fantastic brunch at Coffee and Craic - and special thanks to Swipii for organising such a relaxed and fun event! I also popped along to Tempo Tea on Monday, who were holding another Beau-Tea (see what they did there?!) evening with Swoon Nails and Hey Sailor - of course, I grabbed a yummy bubble tea while I was there.

This week I’ve had some pretty amazing dinners - most notably at The Raven, The MacMillan and finally Gourmet Burger Kitchen, who celebrated their opening in the city centre on Thursday. One word: BACONNAISE. It has to be tasted to be believed! The guys at GBK are continuing the burger lovin’ next week when they will be giving away 250 burgers so be sure to pay them a visit!

I may not be able to offer you free burgers, but in the meantime I’ve rounded up some treats that you can devour this weekend (without venturing into the wild and windy weather!). Happy reading…
