What do you wear when you’re hanging out at Walt Disney World - AKA the most colourful place on earth? I mean, other than Disneybounding (I do my fair share of that too!)? You wear something equally multicoloured and fun, surely! This vintage-inspired rainbow striped frock felt like the perfect piece to wear on our recent visit to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
There are more than 25 hotel locations to choose from when you stay at Walt Disney World (what would you expect at over 28,000 acres?) and each one has a very distinctive theme. This year we stayed at Port Orleans Riverside - a very relaxing New Orleans themed resort. We also spent time visiting other areas (like the tropical Polynesian Village, SO BEAUTIFUL!) and, one morning, decided to hop over to the Art of Animation hotel for breakfast and a wander.
As well as admiring lots of concept art and amazing attention to detail indoors, we spent a lot of time in the outdoor area which was saturated with vivid hues and motifs from Cars, Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid and The Lion King.
Our favourite area was definitely the Cars section; decked out like Radiator Springs from the movie, playing 1950s rock n’ roll and full of life-sized models of the characters.
I felt right at home in this rainbow striped dress (which, because I know how much this means to some of you, has POCKETS!) and I decided it only made sense to accessorise with yet more colours!
