My Festival Style with St Enoch Centre

It’s festival season! And, whether you’re a local or a visitor to Glasgow, you’ll know that our city loves a good festival (I’ve written about some of this year’s here!). Whether it’s music, food, fashion, culture or even coffee, the opportunities to get out and celebrate are endless at this time of year!

Last weekend alone, I found myself at not one, but TWO festivals! In Glasgow on Saturday, I headed to Sole Bloc - Scotland’s Sneaker & Lifestyle Festival (an awesome mix of epic shoes, food trucks and DJ’s at SWG3). The next day, I headed through to the capital to hit up Edinburgh International Film Festival and catch the premiere of Incredibles 2 (but if you happen to follow my shenanigans on Instagram, you might be up to speed with all of this!).

Recently, St Enoch Centre invited me to show off my approach to festival style and Saturday gave me the ideal opportunity to do just that. So, I thought I’d share some of my must-have pieces with you guys (and where to shop them!)…

From dancing your butt off at the main stage, to eating your body weight in street food; festivals call for something comfy yet fabulous! These trousers from Quiz at St Enoch Centre are a no-brainer: brightly coloured, eye-catching, light fabric and (most importantly!) they have an elasticated waist… can I get an AMEN?

You can never have too many denim jackets if you ask me, they go with pretty much everything and you can decorate ’em with your favourite pins and patches! I love the frill detail on the back of this Debenhams one, super cute and a fun alternative to the usual festival fringing.

If I’m spending a long day at a festival, I want to avoid makeup touch-ups as much as possible, so a good foundation goes a long way. My pick is Kat Von D’s Lock-it foundation, as it’s long-lasting, waterproof and gives awesome coverage. Easy!

They say slogan tees are back with a vengeance but, for me, they never really went away! I’m wearing this SUNSHINE one from Oasis here, in a subtle plea for the weather to stay as nice as possible.
